About

Meet Cedric Moore

Cedric Moore (b. 1994) is an American artist currently residing in Prince George's County, Maryland. In Cedric's early childhood, his passion for drawing emerged
as he spent his school day downtime in kindergarten and elementary school sketching portraits, airplanes and cartoon characters from his favorite TV shows. His talent shone through when he consistently secured 1st to 3rd place in his school's Fine Arts competitions for his exceptional watercolor projects each year. Recognizing his potential, Cedric's parents believed in the depth of
his talent, prompting his mother to place him in art lessons at the age of 11.

During this period, Cedric's skillset
and technique for realistic portraits skyrocketed, showcasing an extraordinary talent at such a young age. However, at 12, his artistic nature led to intense frustration and perfectionism, causing him to abandon art entirely—or so he
thought. For 17 years, the pencil remained untouched, and his gift became a "pastime hobby" of the past.

Cedric embarked on a different path, driven by his collegiate background in cybersecurity, earning a B.S. in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University (2016) and an M.S. in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland University College (2019). In 2022, compelled to live a purpose-filled life, he took a leap of faith, leaving his corporate job to pursue his passion for storytelling in film, founding his multimedia production company, DreamPower Media. He is also a motivational speaker, mental health advocate,
philanthropist, voice over actor, and author.

His entrepreneurial journey eventually led him back to drawing, spurred by family, mentors, and an internal curiosity questioning if he still possessed the artistic gift. In 2023, at the age of 29, Cedric picked up a pencil and drew a portrait, rediscovering the talent he had neglected for nearly two decades. Determined not to leave any of his talents on the backburner, he has dedicated himself to honing all his skills.

Within a month, Cedric's artwork had noticeably improved, as if he never skipped a beat. Now,
he plans to use his art to tell engaging stories that connect with his audience, encouraging them to see the greatness within themselves and their communities.

Above all, Cedric acknowledges that his artwork carries a profound
message. It's not about the number of admirers or the prestige of museums and world leaders that will one day recognize his talent but about acknowledging that God can preserve our gifts, using them to make an impact despite our attempts to squander and forget them. This is a story of redemption, and for Cedric Moore, it's just the beginning.
